In the fast moving world of technology, with people using iPads and laptops as they travel to work and throughout the working day, eLearning provides a wonderful opportunity to learn at a time, place and pace that suits the individual.
Our eLearning programmes are specifically designed by trainers to allow a variety of learning methods with reflection included to ensure action is taken. Where possible, there will be the opportunity to progress on to an SVQ unit in the relevant subject. 1:1 coaching can also be provided using our virtual training world.
Leading effective meetings
This eLearning programme will help you develop your skills in leading effective meetings. It will begin by considering, in the first instance, why you have meetings. You will then analyse what is happening NOW, by considering how much time you spend in meetings during your working week and how effective the meetings you participate in are.
Once you have a picture of NOW you are in an excellent position to work out what would make things better. You will think about what “good” looks like and also specify what you want to change.
When you have decided on what you want to change we will provide you with a number of tools and techniques regarding HOW to improve. At this point we will cover many subjects including preparation, the agenda, leading the meeting, handling disruptions, communicating effectively and provide you with some tools to assist effective decision-making during the meetings.
During the section on HOW to do things you may spend time dipping in and out of the areas you are interested in, or you can work through the entire programme. You will also be provided with templates for agendas and minutes which you can adapt for your own organisation.
This eLearning programme has a mix of trainer-led videos to watch, activities to take part in, film clips to watch of real actors conducting a meeting, and self- assessment. It concentrates on allowing you to improve how you lead meetings.
